The real criminal cases, original crimes and punishments – all this you will watch in the serial film «A picture, drawn with chalk”, which is the first Ukrainian film based on real events from militia life.

The film got such name with an ulterior motive – with « » name militiamen call the most resonant events. The idea of creation of the first Ukrainian film about militia belongs to the journalist and TV host Kostiantyn Stogniy who has become the general producer of a picture.
- The serial film «A picture, drawn with chalk» - is the beginning of a big way, - considers Kostiantyn. - I have never had an aim and saw no sense in making our project in such way that it should rehabilitate or blacken militia. Militia has been my professional environment for many years therefore I have collected many interesting stories. Others wanted to shoot a film of such idea too, but eventually only I succeeded. I had my plan, I had co-workers and dedicated friends. We didn’t receive any money from the country, on the contrary – my friends were the ones who kept me going. The project we’ve made is a faithful, natural and sincere picture.
